I Gelsi
 |
It's in the open country not far from the town of Macerata and about 20 kilometres from the Adriatic Sea.
The typical farmhouse dating back to the end of the eighteenth century, had been restored taking care of the preservation of its architectonic characteristics.
They offer accommodation in some bedrooms, furnished in "Arte Povera". |
Cooking is considered particularly important. The dishes, mainly inspired by local tradition, are served in a room where once was the old cattle shed, with a great fireplace where quality meat is roasted and an old wood-burning oven for homemade bread.
A peculiarity of "I Gelsi" is the horse club "Country Club", with 10 boxes and riding ground, where it's possible to have lessons and to accommodate its own horse. |
