In the heart of the gentle Marche hills, in the municipality of Pergola (PU), lies Agriturismo Alla Vecchia Quercia—a former rural hamlet lovingly restored and transformed into a welcoming farmhouse surrounded by nature. Located at the foot of Monte Catria and surrounded by lush pastures and unspoiled woods, it is the ideal destination for those seeking a holiday immersed in peace, nature, and sustainable tourism in the Marche region.
Agriturismo Alla Vecchia Quercia is part of an organic farm that covers approximately 20 hectares. Six hectares are dedicated to olive groves, while the remaining land is used for pasture, crops, and fruit trees. There is also a vegetable garden and a large flower meadow, designed to provide a natural habitat for bees—precious allies in producing honey with a truly authentic flavor. The olive trees—around 1,400—are spread across both the estate and nearby land, contributing to the production of a high-quality extra virgin olive oil.
At Alla Vecchia Quercia, both children and adults can enjoy the thrill of direct contact with nature and the animals of the farm. Pigs, goats, sheep, rabbits, chickens, horses, dogs, and cats live in designated areas of the property, which guests are welcome to visit. The bees, tireless workers, are the guardians of the organic honey produced on-site.
Agriturismo Alla Vecchia Quercia was born from the dream of a Swiss couple who, in 1999, discovered this hidden paradise and decided to move to the Marche region to embrace a new lifestyle—centered on sustainability and rural hospitality. After carefully restoring the hamlet, the structure is now a true retreat for those who wish to reconnect with nature in an authentic, welcoming, and serene environment.
